Plot
A doctor is getting ready for the out-of-court settlement to a family, as one of the family’s members died due to the negligence of the doctor. While he is on the way to settle the money personally, he receives an anonymous call stating that they have kidnapped his estranged daughter. His daughter has Down syndrome, and hence, he abandoned her and divorced his wife. Initially, he thought it was a prank call, but only after attending the video call he believed it. If he didn’t give the money to the victim’s family on time, he would be imprisoned. If he didn’t give the money to the kidnapper, he couldn’t save his daughter. What will he do? The rest of the film shows that.
Star Performance
Sohum’s performance is extraordinary. The expressions when he is in a dilemma are very impressive. He has been honing his acting skills in every movie.
Analysis
The script has a simple one-line. Yet, it is deeply spun with emotions. The fast-paced screenplay makes us travel with the doctor throughout. The cinematographers deserve a big applause for beautifully capturing the expressions. The lighting and colors are perfect. We never thought that a limited cast movie, which, too, is majorly a single-performance movie would entertain the audience throughout. The BGM and songs are good, and they blend well with the movie’s theme.
