Rahul Dev is an Indian model turned film and television actor. He was born as Rahul Dev Samra on September 27, 1968 in New Delhi, India to a Khatri Punjabi household. He studied at St. Columba’s School in Delhi where he used to be a fast bowler. Gursharan Singh, a former cricket player saw him bowling and he got impressed so he asked Rahul to join his academy. However, Rahul is more focused on his studies at that time. His father was once a police commissioner in Delhi and his brother, Mukul Dev is also an actor. In the early 90’s Rahul has donned modeling. He was the first Indian to be featured in GQ Magazine’s London Edition with 6-pages story. He is also a regular face of the popular brand, Hugo Boss.
Rahul Dev was supposedly debuted as an actor through the unfinished Bollywood film, Dus in 1997. But the director, Mukul S. Anand died during the time that the film was still in production. He was then debuted in the 2000 film, Champion which stars Sunny Deol and Manisha Koirala. He played the villainous role of Naseer Ahmed, the threat to the life of Abbas (played by Abhishek Sharma) and his performance gained him nomination for Best Performance in a Negative Role at the Filmfare Award, Best Actor in a Negative Role and the Most Promising Newcomer at the Screen Award. Since then, he started to do villain roles in many films including the Punjabi film, Dharti in year 2011.
Rahul has done more than 60 films including Aashiq, Asoka, Takkari Dhonga, 23 March 1931: Shaheed, Parasuram, Supari, Kyon?, 88 Antop Hill, Omkara, Aan: Men At Work, Kyon Ki, Mazhai, Vidyarthi, Fight Club – Members Only, Sarhad Paar, Pournami, Munna, Tulasi, U Me Aur Hum, Premi No. 1, Yodha, Mirza The Untold Story, Naayak, Shadow, Jatt Boys – Putt Jattan De, Yevadu, and a lot more. He was also part of the Oriya-language film, Mahanayak in 2007. Rahul also donned the Malayalam film, RajadhiRaja which stars Mammootty and the Punjabi film, Hikk Naal in 2014. Also, in year 2003. His performance as Shekhar Srivastav in the Hindi crime thriller film, Footpath won the Best Villain Award at the Zee Cine Award in 2004.
In 2013, Rahul made his debut in television. He bagged the role of Demon Arunasur who will fight against Lord Shiva (played by Mohit Raina) in the drama series, Devon Ke Dev… Mahadev on Life OK.
Rahul got married to Rina Dev in year 1998 but she dies on May 16, 2009 due to cancer. Their son, Siddharth was only eleven years old when his mother died

6. Arbaaz Khan
Born in a family that has strong ties in the film industry, it wasn’t too long before Arbaaz Khan jumped into Bollywood. Born in 1967, he started his career as an actor and then decided to switch to the production aspect of films later on.
Arbaaz had big shoes to fill with his older brother, Salman Khan, being a superstar actor. He has held many leading and supporting roles in movies throughout his acting career. He is well known for his supporting roles in Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na in which he appeared with his brother Sohail Khan and Dabangg 1 and 2 in which he worked with his other brother Salman Khan. 10. Hiten Tejwani
Born to a Sindhi family in Mumbai on 5th March 1974, Hiten Tejwani was passionate about acting from an early age. Javed Ali (Javed Hussain) was born in Delhi in 1982. He has been working as an Indian playback singer since 2000. Ali started his singing journey at a very early age with his father, who is a popular Qawwali singer named, Ustad Hamid Hussain. He is also a playback singer in Hindi, Bengali, Telugu, Marathi, Kannada, and Tamil.
He has been singing since 2000, but his song “Ek Din Teri Raahon Mein” from the film Naqaab (2007) made him famous in Bollywood. 12. Zubeen Garg
Zubeen Garg or Zubeen Borthakur aka Goldie was born on 18 November 1972 in Jorhat, Assam to Mohini Mohan Borthakur, a famous lyricist and poet and the late Ily Borthakur. He finished his schooling from various schools across Assam and moved to Guwahati to get a degree in Science from B. Borooah College.
When he got a gold medal for his Western Solo Performance in 1992, he left his degree to pursue his career in music. He started learning tabla from Guru Robin Banarjee and singing from Guru Romoni Rai. In a very short duration of time he became a trained artist not just on the table but also on dhols, dotara, mandolin, percussions, guitar and the keyboard. He released his first album by the name of ‘Anamika’ in the same year.
Garg went on to become one of the most famous singers of the Indian Film Industry. He has sung in 40 different languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telegu, Kannada, Assamese, Malayalam and Bengali. More than 20,000 different songs have already been sung by him till now.
This multi talented artist started his own production house and has even acted in Bengali and Assamese movies. His dedication made him won the ’Best Movie Award’ in 2005 for a Bengali movie, ‘Rajat Kamal National Award’ in 2007 and many more. He is married to an Assam based fashion designer Garima Saikia Garg and lives with her in Mumbai.

13. Shahbaz Khan

Sonu Nigam is a renowned Bollywood singer and composer. He was born on July 30, 1973 in Faridabad, Haryana. Hailing from a musical background, both his parents are singers. He is the son of singer Agam Kumar Nigam. The first performance he gave was at the tender age of 3 when he performed the song Kya Hua Tera Wada by Mohammed Rafi.
