Plot: Elise (Angelina Jolie) finds herself being followed by French police led by Inspector John Acheson who is under a mission to chase Alexander Pierre, Elise’s lover and a fugitive on the run. Pierre owes £744 to the British government as back taxes and is supposed to have stolen over $2 billion from Reginald Shaw, a mobster. Both the police and shaw’s men chase Elise around the town. He is believed to have undergone a plastic surgery, so that his appearance could be changed. In the Parisian Cafe, Elise finds a note addressed to her by Pierre.
The note asks Elise to board the train; pick out a guy and let the police believe that the guy is Pierre. Elise then does as she is told. She chooses Frank Tupelo (Johnny Depp) and flirts with him enough to mislead the police. Frank, however, falls in love with Elise and the story goes on the French police and Shaw’s men chase Frank. The story takes a sudden turn, when Elise’s true identity breaks out and she is forced to choose between Frank, to whom she reflects his feelings, and her love, Pierre. Various twists occur throughout the movie to leave you hooked to the screen!
Analysis: Though you’d fall in short of guessing whether the movie is a comedy or a thriller, it’s definitely worth your time. The saying that logic has no place where the movie is concerned definitely goes for this movie. This movie is just for plain fun, if you need a message to go across this movie is definitely not for you! The scenery is well worth your time though! Screenplay and direction are better than most movies go, then again do not look for logic!

What’s not there?
1. Expected flair in the pair.
Verdict: Watch it for fun, you’ll enjoy it. Have no expectations, you’ll be satisfied! If you’re on the lookout for suspense and unexpected ending.. well, that depends on how you go with the movie. Comedy is a surefire but the romance and the thrilling part, you’d have to be a really sensitive person to grasp them!
