Plot
Katie Mitchell is an upcoming filmmaker and gets accepted into California Film School. So the family goes on one last trip before college, meanwhile, Mark Bowman, a technology entrepreneur, has a clash with his AI- PAL, so PAL embarks on a mission to capture humans and send them to space. What will happen next? Will the family escape the robots? Will the family resolve their fights and come back safely?
Star Performance
The entire Mitchell family characters were well-written. We can see that all of their personalities and opinions are different, and they frequently fight, but in the end, they stay together, and solve all of their problems together even if it means one is compromised.
Analysis
Even though the daughter and father do not get along and fight frequently, we see some heartwarming moments where they do things for each other and try to eliminate the differences. They teach us that effective communication and bonding is necessary for every family. PAL is shown as the villain, but we can see that he was mistreated by his boss which increased PAL’s hate towards humanity.
