Plot- The change-up is the story of how two best friends, Dave and Mitch exchanges their bodies and lives each other's lives. Dave and Mitch both admired the other's life and wished to lead their life in the same manner. Dave is a lawyer while Mitch is and actor. One night, after being drunk, they both run to a park and simultaneously wishes to exchange each other's lives while peeing in a fountain. The next morning, when they wake up, they realize that their wishes had come true, and their bodies are exchanged.
Mitch now does all the chores of Dave and goes to his law firm where he meets Sabrina and gets attracted to her. He also accidently gets stuck in a situation of making love to Jamie, Dave's wife. Dave, on the other hand, reaches a studio where Mitch was supposed to shoot and finds out that it was a porno. The movie takes various twists as the story continues. For an answer to the question whether they will stay the same or they gets to exchange their bodies again, you must go and watch the movie.
Analysis- The movie is a sheer comedy, and one will ache his stomach while watching it. The movie succeeds in justifying the comedy genre but some scenes are inappropriate and too adult to handle, and people might object. The editing could have been better as the movie has a lot of sex content. The direction of David Dobkin is average and gets very uneasy in the middle to handle. He should've tried more to get more work from the actors.
Star performances- Ryan Reynolds has not performed to his name and has failed to give hopes to the audience. Leslie Mann and Olivia Wilde hasn't done enough notable work and may seem like a way to add glamor to the film. Surprisingly,

oozes the audience with his performance as Dave and deserve the credit for doing a movie in the comedy genre, which isn't his thing.
What's there: 1) The movie is filled with hardcore comedy, and you will end up laughing almost after every other scene. 2) The young star cast can connect to the youth through the film and take them in another fantasy world.
What's not there: 1) The direction and guidance to keep the movie bound together is the major thing missing from the movie. 2) Some sequences will bore you, and you might end up holding your head.
Verdict: The movie hasn't been up to the mark but has comedy. You can watch it at your risk.
