Skull Island: Blood of the King is an adoption from a graphic novel by Joe DeVito and Brad Strickland. It is an entirely new story set 25 years after the so-called monster destroyed New York City. It is a sort of prequel to the original story. It revolves around how a group of pirates comes to explore the Skull Island in search of treasure but what they encounter is traumatizing. What they find is giant dinosaurs and gorillas as well as animals enormous in size. Also, there is a human civilization on its way to an end.
Carl Denham had once brought a priceless treasure to the city. An even bigger trouble occur when the creature escapes and injured lives. Twenty-five years later Carl Denham’s son makes an exploration to that island. It will be a discovery that will solve the century’s greatest mystery.
