Julianne Hough has won the ABC: Dancing with the Stars, twice. Born to Marianne and Bruce Hough (Chairman of Utah Republican Party), in all they were five siblings and Julianne was the youngest. The entire family was in the field of music and dance, as her brother, Derek, and the three sisters, all were dancers. The famous musicians, Rocky, Rydel, and Riker, are her second cousins.

After receiving formal training at the Center Stage Performing Arts Studio in Orem, she started dancing in competitions at the age of nine. A year later, her parents got divorced and the girl was sent to learn dancing with her brother Derek in London. Lasse Hallstrom (Lars Sven "Lasse" Hallström) is a Swedish director and screenwriter. He shot to fame by directing musical videos for Swedish musical group “ABBA”. Later, he became an independent director in feature films and shot to fame by getting a twice nomination in Academy Awards for his classic direction in movies like ‘'My Life As A Dog' (1985) and 'The Cider House Rules’ (1999).

Although the film 'My Life as a Dog' could not take home any Academy Award, it did manage to win the Golden Globe Award for the Best Foreign Language Film, in the year 1988. While the other ‘The Cider House Rules’ took home two awards for best actor and best screenplay writer at Academy Award and proudly entered additional five nominations in Oscar.
