The American movie Paranormal Activity 2 hit the screens in 2010. The movie deals with the supernatural and is intertwined with horror. Tod Wiliams directed the movie. Michael R. Perry developed the movie’s screenplay. The movie is a follow-up to the original movie Paranormal Activity that hit the screens in 2007. The sequel dates back to two months before the happenings in the original and continues from where the original movie left.
Plot: A couple shifts to their new residence in Southern California. But, they do not know that there is an occupant in the house. One fine day, as the couple is back to home, everything is in ram shackles. The couple installs a spy camera to corner the culprits. But, they do not know that something outlandish is in store for them.
The movie has doubly met the expectations that it aroused, and the screenplay is better than you think it to be. The characters are embedded so carefully that the movie does not lose its essence. A few ingredients have been added to this sequel such that it is more palatable than the original. The camera eyes swoop over the now-a –bit-larger house than it was in the original. Those who have seen the original movie would find the creepiness continuing in the second movie. The bedroom opens to a dimly lit hall. Audiences have a heart throbbing as the camera angles are pretty good. As per the storyline, the movie has plenty of more hidden cameras and places accessible to the devil. The family does not want to be trapped in the bedroom and has quite a few emergency exits. Maybe, the director thought that such buildup of scenes would make the pulse race. But, audiences are heard yelling at the couple on screen to get out of the main door and abandon the house.
Verdict:Â The movie is a better version of its predecessor, and the fans of horror movies find the movie to be better going.
