Plot 

The film follows Frank Teagarten, played by Alec Baldwin, and Nancy Teagarten, played by Salma Hayek. The couple is facing a slew of financial problems; Frank’s successful company closed down and they are drowning in debt. They sent their daughter Rachel, played by Michelle Veintimilla, to an Ivy League college, and are now struggling to even afford her college fees. They are forced to sell their house and everything else they own through garage sales to stay afloat. They do all this while drowning their sorrows in wine. The film follows Frank and Nancy Teagarten as they try to hide their financial condition from their daughter, and sell off everything they own while drinking themselves into oblivion.   

Star Performance 

Alec Baldwin and Selma Hayek give good performances and have good chemistry on-screen.

Analysis 

The film has witty humor, and some crude jokes, although none are too distasteful. The performances and comedy are good but the storyline is unbelievably weak.

Verdict

The film would be a good watch when the viewer wants to just shut off their logic and enjoy some mindless humor. The performances are great and the film is full of humor.
