Cowgirls 'N Angels Movie Review

Appealing to all ages and genders the same, Cowgirls and Angels is a movie that everyone can enjoy.

Plot: It’s about a 12-year old named Ida, who starts of like a rebellious, adventure seeking girl. She lives with her single mother, Elaine. During the summer holidays with nothing to do and with a motive of trying to find her father (a man she’s never met), she sneaks off to a rodeo show to entertain herself. Ida’s father was a topic her mother never talks about and that’s partly a reason why she doesn’t allow Ida to go to the rodeo show. However after continuous efforts of persuading her mom, Elaine finally accepts. At the rodeo show, Ida finds a bunch of girls participating in the show as “America’s Sweethearts.” Ida quickly befriends the sweethearts manager Terrace Parker (who was a former rodeo star) and his daughter, Rebbecca. They realize Ida’s potential as a trick rider and offer her to tour America along with the other girls. She quickly accepts and with the help of the girls and Terrace, Ida sets out to find who her father is. During the journey, Terrace realizes that Ida is the granddaughter of one his late friends. Terrace resolves to set himself to help Ida in her quest to find out who her father is. Hence her journey starts this is where she discovers what her life is really about, she finds a whole new love for horses and learns lessons that could change her forever.

This movie has the ability to touch the hearts of young and old equally. There are parts where things start going wrong, and you’d just feel the need to cry, but it’s really the happy ending which brings out a tear or two from you!

Verdict: A must watch with the entire family. A few words which could put a summary to the theme of the movie is good, clean fun!!
