ANALYSIS:
The narration part is weak. The movie does not have fierce dialogues, and the dialogues are bland. They bore the audience and makes them yearn more for action scenes. Much of CGI is used to show the goriness of the violence. Unfortunately, only one fight scene is interesting. The Picts uses fire balls for the attack. Just like the rest of the movie, the music score is not memorable. They do not have much effect on the emotions of the audience. The movie is with full of noise made by the striking swords.
STAR PERFORMANCES:
Michael Fassbender looks so common and gives a simple performance. It was not that impressive.

does not have much space on the screen to showcase his talents. However, he gives an energetic performance. Olga does the role of a legitimate antagonist. At times, we may think to support her.

comes as a beautiful witch. She takes part in bringing the love tone of the movie. But she is introduced only after an hour into the movie.
WHAT'S THERE?
Few of the action sequences ar well choreographed, and the chemistry between Michael and Poots is lovable.
WHAT'S NOT THERE?
Though we know that the truth is on Olga's side, we are forced to pity the protagonist and his Roman army, since they are the core of the story.
VERDICT:
An action packed, entertaining movie, unfortunately forcing us to support the wrong one.
