Telugu Producers Decide To Strike Hard On Workers Union

Telugu producers have had enough.

According to the recent reports, the Telugu Film Producers Council led by T Prasanna Kumar Bio coming soon... >> Read More... have decided to appeal against the Telugu Film Employees Federation’s demands at the Competition Commission of India.

In case you are not aware, there is a strike going on in Tollywood, which was organized by the Telugu Film Employees Federation. According to the strikers, no producer would get assistance from the workers until most of their demands are met, including a 30 percent hike in the wages.

However, the producers have rejected the demands, calling it unreasonable. They also cited the previous demands of the Federation, where they insisted on including local workers at all costs, even if they don’t turn up at work, causing massive losses to the producer.

Interestingly the Competition Commission of India had criticized the Federation for this reason in one of its judgments in 2017. The Commission had ruled in the favor of the producers in its judgment, which decided if  they could hire outside workers or not.
