Riteish Deshmukh Seeks Herbal Cigarettes!

Riteish Deshmukh plays a street musician in “Banjo,” a musical drama directed by Ravi Jadhav. For this film, he has come out of his comfort zone. Yes, the nonsmoker has to shoot for a smoking sequence, as his character requires. So, he used herbal cigarettes to bring a natural look to his performance. Riteish always opposes smoking. When he was asked to smoke in his previous films, he didn’t do that. As he is a street performer, he has to smoke and hence he has opted for herbal cigars without tobacco, says a source. Riteish too admits it and said, "To make my character look believable, I was supposed to smoke in a few scenes. Thankfully, I had to smoke herbal cigarettes and not the actual ones that are harmful." Nargis Fakhri pairs him in this flick. The film is all set to hit the screens on 23rd September.
