Rishi was diagnosed with cancer, a couple of years back and he had been getting treatment in New York City. He returned back to India in 2019. Due to some breathing complications, he was admitted to a private hospital in Mumbai on 29^th April 2020. As his body couldn’t recuperate to the medicines, he breathed his last today, April 30^th, 2020 at 5:20 am.
