Ranveer To Play A Cricketer?

Ranveer Singh, who is working in “Padmavati” with Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor under the direction of Sanjay Leela Bhansali is said to have committed doing a cricket-based film. It is heard that Kabir Khan, the helmer of Bajrangi Bhaijaan and “Tubelight” is said to direct a film on India’s success in 1983 Cricket World Cup. It is heard that after wrapping up the project with Salman Khan, Kabir will start working on the Cricket project, says a source. Earlier, the makers had approached Arjun Kapoor for playing the lead role. But, it didn’t materialize. Now, they had approached Ranveer. However, there is no official statement released regarding this. If the rumours are to be believed, then the Band Baaja Baaraat actor will be joining the team after wrapping up his part in the historical film with Deepika. Meanwhile, he has wrapped up his part in “Befikre” with Vaani Kapoor and is expecting the release of the film directed by Aditya Chopra.
