” at Times of India Film Awards. He is thrilled to get the appreciation. Nawazuddin says people didn’t expect him in a villain role in Badlapur, which gave him a good scope in acting. He says, he wouldn’t be depressed, even if he is not awarded and feels that nomination is a high recognition. When asked about stardom, he says, “I feel stardom can corrupt your mind as an actor. I don't think about fame at all, as it can affect your performance. There is a certain spontaneity that I bring into my characters, for which it's important to stay raw.” “Once you believe you are a star, you feel no matter what you do, people are going to like you, but that's a mistake,” says the actor. He advises the fellow artists not to imitate anyone and not to follow certain trends. Focusing on their talent is the best way to success, says Nawazuddin!
