Ketaki Is All Set For Her New Venture!

Very few people in our pompous and colourful Film Industry are lucky enough to taste success at a very young age and remain grounded about it. The young and accomplished actress and playback singer Ketaki Mategaonkar sets a similar example. The 22-year-old is an undergraduate in English Literature and has starred in Marathi as well as Hindi films. Her stints in Shala, Taani, and Timepass earned her accolades from the superstars of Marathi cinema, but Ketaki didn’t stop there. Apart from grooming her acting skills, she makes sure that she practices singing every day. Ketaki has even sung for the musical genius “Ilaiyaraja” in the film Kaksparsh and its Tamil version. Her film Phuntroo hit the theatres, this March. The movie is a love story of Anaya (played by Ketaki) and Vira (played by Mada) set in the background of science fiction. The Sujay Dahake directorial venture was the first of its kind flick in the history of Marathi cinema and the viewers were left enthralled with the concept and the VFX effects.
