Kamya’s Take On Pearl Grey!

Pearl Grey is one of the leading producers of Indian Television Dramas, who is currently going through a rough patch in her life. Although she had produced many serials before, it was her show "Pratigya" that brought fame and gained her proper recognition. In 2013, she started another TV serial titled "Doli Armaano Ki," which lasted for two years. The show has been in controversy ever since it went off the air in 2015. The cast of the soap opera accused Pearl of not paying them their due and the complaint was even lodged with CINTAA (Cine and TV Artistes' Association). While the entire cast chose to keep mum about the issue in public, actress Kamya Punjabi had other plans. When Pearl posted a picture of her vacation with family abroad on Facebook, Kamya commented on the post asking for the money she didn't receive for her work. This action of her did not go down well with the producer and her family and Pearl blocked her on the social networking site. She even rubbished Kamya's claim of having called her a number of times, alleging that the last time they talked was late in April. She was also banned from working anymore by the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE), which has been lifted now. She has promised to return everyone's money once she starts working again.
