Malika Zafar is an Urdu theatre and television actress well-known as Milli in the Pakistan television series Udaari. Malika Zafar is an expert in dance forms like Bharatanatyam, Jazz, Salsa, and Ballet. Since the age of five, she learned Bharatanatyam under Mrs. Indu Mitha, and dance has been her first love. As a teenager, Malika Zafar wanted to try every profession from a lawyer to a doctor and desired to pursue psychology in college.

But when she took a summer course in acting during her summer school at Harvard, she realized acting was what she wanted to pursue. In 2013, Malika Zafar made her debut in a feature film with the Pakistani satirical thriller film Anima State. Directed by Hammed Khan, the movie speaks about Pakistan's media and political conditions.

Malika Zafar appeared as the Archetypes of Women in the picture. The film got screened at the 2013 South Asian International Film Festival. Malika Zafar attended the auditions for the Hum TV drama Udaari in 2016. She got selected to play the role of Maleeha Khalid, aka Milli, in the show. In the drama, she played a drummer. Despite being her first television show, she took up an unconventional role and nailed it like nobody else. The show Udaari, on the whole, delivered a powerful message on child abuse and received appreciation from the audience for its meaningful content. In 2018, she played a part in the television mini-series Aakhri Station, seven episodes. Malika Zafar acted in the role of Farzana in the series, which focused on women's empowerment and the issues women of Pakistan are facing.
