He is the eldest son of the Urdu poet Suhail Ahmed. Khan completed his bachelor’s from the Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture. During his bachelor’s, he grew interested in acting and started his career as a theatre actor in the year 2011. Hassam played roles in various plays such as Come Again in the year 2011. He played the iconic role of the founder of Pakistan, Mohammad Ali Jinnah in Anwar Maqsood’s Pawnay on 14th August at the AlHamra Arts Council in Lahore. He has done some work in direction and made his writing debut in a feature film called Azaad, which tells us about the serial killer, Talha Zulfiqar, who had killed nine people. Another work of Khan, made him gain more recognition.

This was his lead role of Saleem in Geo TV’s Eid telefilm Nazar Ke Samnay in the year 2015.
