In Shikarpur, Sindh, Bashir Ahmed Polani was born on March 3, 1963, during the Ramazan month. His family is well-known and religious in the Bantawa Community. Abdul Ghaffar Polani, his father, was a prosperous businessman. He had his early schooling at Shikarpur’s Islamia High School. He traveled to Karachi in 1975 to further his academic and Islamic teaching courses. He obtained admission to Abdullah Haroon College in Karachi, where he successfully finished his intermediate studies.
Early in the 1990s, Maulana Bashir Farooqi and others started their charity and humanitarian activities. Later he founded a non-profit organization called ‘Saylani Welfare International Trust’ on May 15, 1999. Currently, this charitable organization in Pakistan is headed by Maulana Bashir Farooqi Qadri. In addition to his philanthropic endeavors, Maulana Bashir Farooqui maintains his commitment to assisting individuals with his profound expertise. He is renowned for providing Istikhara guidance to people via the television show ‘Istikhara – Support for Troubled Hearts’ on QTV.
