Zubaida Khanum is a playback singer. She works for the Pakistani music scene. She was born in 1935. Zubaida Khanum started her career in Radio Lahore, Pakistan. She made her debut as a singer in the movie Billo. Zubaida Khanum got selected to sing songs for a film called Sheri Babu. The songs she sang in Sheri Babu became a major hit and earned her great fame. Her voice was considered a national treasure during the golden era of Pakistani film music. Zubaida Khanum's main genres were Ghazal and Folk. She has recorded over 250 songs and attracted massive public admiration. Throughout her life, she has worked with many famous personalities. Zubaida Khanum has a significant contribution to Pakistan movie music and sang for over 300 movie songs, including Pattan, Heer, Chann Mahi, Guddi Gudda, Sarfarosh, Zulfan, Mukhra, and Ghalib.
