Rustam Fateh Ali Khan is the son of the famous Pakistani singer, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan; his uncles, Ustad Mubarik Ali Khan and Ustad Salamat Ali Khan, were famous qawwals. He started his career as a qawwali singer in the early 2000s. Coming from a musical background, Rustam Fateh Ali Khan could sing very well by the age of 10.
