Natasha Noorani is a Pakistani singer, songwriter and ethnomusicologist. She was born in Lahore, Pakistan. She completed her bachelor's in political science from Lahore University of Management Sciences in 2015. She pursued her Master of Music degree in Ethnomusicology from SOAS University of London (2018-2019). She is the recipient of the Goethe Talents Scholarship, 2019. She is a trained khayal gayaki and contemporary Pakistani pop music singer. In 2010, she co-founded Sanapistaan (a platform for Pakistani photographers to share their work). Since 2015, Noorani has been working as an independent musician, making music across genres like rnb, contemporary and pop-neo soul. She is a part of the band, Biryani Brothers.

She has collaborated with many artists, including Abdullah Siddiqui, Sikandar ka Mandar, Talal Quereshi, Gentle Robot, and Jamal Rahman, to name a few. She has worked on songs for films like Baaji (2019) and Chalay Thay Saath (2017). She debuted with her much anticipated solo ep, Munaasib, in 2018. She is the co-founder and Festival Director of Lahore Music Meet (since 2015), which has showcased more than 150 artists and has had over 200 sessions. She worked as a Marketing Executive for CityFM89 from May 2016 to Jan 2017. This included working with brands for promotional content and leading Marketing strategies for CityFM89’s 2017 campaign.

She was the general manager of Coke Studio (season 10) (Pakistan) from Jan 2017 to Jan 2018 and was involved in the management of production and development of content etc., for the show. She also managed the renowned band, Strings. She founded Peshkash (in April 2020), which is a project that serves as an archive for Pakistan’s 90’s music, mainly from the years 1947 to 1999. It thus preserves and promotes Pakistani musical heritage. In November 2020, worked as a Brand and Marketing Manager for the Pakistan Super League for one year.

Then, she once again worked with Coke Studio (Pakistan) as a Curator and Creative Consultant from March 2021 to March 2022. She worked as a Program Manager for British Council (November 2020-November2022) and mentored several artists to learn new skills and evolve in the field of music, adding another experience to her diverse range of work. Her single, Faltu Pyaar, was one the most prominent independent musical hits of 2022. Some of her other well-known songs include choro (2023), Trace (2020), Baby Baby (2020), and Apocalypse How (2018), among others. She also works as a voice-over artist.
