Fizza Javed is a singer born in Karachi, Pakistan. She developed an interest in music since childhood because of her father’s immense admiration for music. Her father introduced her to the legends of music. She was inspired by famous singers such as Madam Noor Jehan and Lata Mangeshkar Lata Mangeshkar, the veteran playback singer, had >> Read More... and started singing early. She did her formal training with Ustad Karam Abbas Khan. She spent four years of her career maintaining her national championship for squash and swimming from 2004-2009. She participated in a singing competition and got eliminated early but that did not disappoint her. She turned to professional singing afterward.

Fizza made her debut in music in season 8 of Coke Studio Pakistan in 2015 and gave an outstanding performance of her song “Ve Baneya” which was written and composed by her. Her music style is a combination of Eastern and Western music. Her areas of interest lie in Sufi, Folk, Contemporary, Ghazal, Pop, and semi-classical music. She has contributed to several OSTs and TV plays while also being a coke studio artist. Driven by her passion she remains one of the notable young artists of Pakistan.
