. Ahmed Hussain was born on 3 February 1951 in Jaipur, Rajasthan. They received guidance on music at an early age from their father- Ustad Afzal Hussain. The duo performs Hindustani Classical Music, Bhajan, and Ghazals. The duo began their singing career through All India Radio Jaipur as child artists of Classical and thumri singing of Jaipur Gharana.
In 1980, they released their debut album Guldasta. They have released more than 100 albums in their career, which include- Naat, Rifaaqat, Mukhatib, Shamakhana,
