Khawaja Najam Ul Hasan is very hard-working and renowned Urdu producer, director and trainer who has made an immense contribution in the entertainment world of Pakistan. He was born on October 4, 1949 in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. For his schooling he went to Cathedral School, in Lahore. After which, he went to Government Islamia College, Civil Lines, Lahore, and then to Government College, Lahore, Pakistan.
In 1974, Khawaja joined the Pakistan Television Corporation (PTV), where Aslam Azhar was the managing director. Then, from 1984 to 1994, he was the program trainer at PTV Academy, Islamabad, and then the controller programs at PTV headquarters till 1998. From 1998 to 2002, he was responsible for the conceptualization and execution of a new channel- PTV World. Later, he worked as the director of programs and then as genera, manager of PTV Lahore Center in 2003.
Because of his artistic vision and dedication, Khawaja is considered to be a television star maker and producer, especially because of his most popular TV shows ever produced in Pakistan. He has won several awards like the best TV Producer for Moods and Melodies in Singapore and the Pride of Performance award from the President of Pakistan.
