Ali Shan Khemani is a film producer who mainly works in Urdu movies. He was born on March 16, 1984. He hails from Karachi, Pakistan. He has an associate degree in Theatre and Television production from the National Academy of Performing Arts. He completed his post-graduation in media studies and management at the Institute of Business Management. He began as a director for the experimental short film The Past and presented for the best film in the Youth Festival. He worked for many documentaries, TV channels, MNCs and consulates. He also worked as a production associate at AV2 Films in Karachi, created storyboards for TV commercials, and directed documentaries, including KCR (The Buried Railway).
Ali was an Associate Producer at Express NewMedia and produced notable documentaries, including one on Moin Akhtar and the program Kaha Suna Mauuf. He worked as the Head of Production at Geo TV Network. Ali worked as an Executive Producer and Writer for the short film Prohibited. He was the director for documentaries such as Against All Odds, Alternate Iftaar, Light of Culture, Navratri, and Ustaad Gulaab. He has a deep passion for theatre and wrote and directed numerous plays, including The Silk Route and Qissa 65 Kaa.
