Sabir Ghani is an Urdu Filmmaker, producer, and video editor. He has been working in the Pakistani film and TV industry since 2007. He is a Karachi, Pakistan-based filmmaker. He completed his education at “The Karachi Institute of Economics and Technology” in Media Sciences with a specialization in Post Production. He also did a certificate course in Filmmaking from the “Karachi Film School.”
He started his career in the media industry by producing many shows for “Business Plus” as a Senior Producer.” He made various generic promos, fillers, and documentaries for the channel. Then, in October 2010, he started working for “CNBC Pakistan” as a director and senior producer. He debuted in the film industry in December 2016, when he began working for “Aaj TV” as a director and senior producer. He produced sitcoms, drama series, and magazine shows for “Aaj Entertainment.”
Since 2007, he has also worked freelance and directed and edited many short films, web series, music videos, brand campaigns, corporate films, and documentaries. He also co-directed short films in Australia, which were remotely for Pakistan. In 2018, he won the “Best Director in Crime series” award by “The Media Awards.” In 2019, he established “SGF Digital,” offering solutions in pre and post-production processes.
