Parisa Siddiqi is a Founder & Manager Director at Doorway Entertainment. She completed her school studies at The City School. Then, Parisa Siddiqi went to the University of Waterloo to pursue a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English Language and Literature from 2002 to 2006. Later, she took a diploma course in filmmaking at the New York Film Academy (NYFA) in 2008.

Parisa Siddiqi started her career as a freelance writer & director in 2008. She directed and produced a range of internal and external videos for local & multinational clients, including Mobilink (Orascom/ Vimplecom), Avisa Mineral Water, Shahi Supari, and a unique travel show. For three months, Parisa Siddiqi was the substitute Editor-in-Chief for Women’s Own Magazine. Also, she contributed politically and socially driven articles for The Law Magazine.

From Feb 2011 to Oct 2012, Parisa Siddiqi worked as a Head of Content at A&B Entertainment, Pakistan’s premier production house. She supervised over sixty scripts of serials, soaps, and telefilms. She wrote four original scripts for drama serials, including Band Bajey Ga (ARY Digital), Mera Saeein 2, Syskiyaan, and Soha Savera (Geo Kahani), which gained high ratings in their respective slots. She initiated and supervised the concept & script of the highly acclaimed film “ Manto Click to look into! >> Read More... ” with esteemed writer Shahid Nadeem. She created and managed a panel of more than thirty scriptwriters from all over the country.

She communicated with the content departments of all the mainstream channels like ARY Digital, Geo Entertainment, Hum TV, Urdu 1, and Express Entertainment regarding all scripts & content-related queries. She organized a seminar with Dr. Fauzia Saeed, writer of the famous book, “ Taboo Taboo aka Jamie Luis Gomez who is better known by >> Read More... ,” based on sexual harassment in the workplace, to assist, educate, and create awareness among writers so that they can incorporate such ideas within their stories.

Parisa Siddiqi has been working as a managing director at Doorway Entertainment since Jan 2013 in Karachi, Pakistan. She created & supervised the entire content/ editorial of MasterChef Pakistan and provided training workshops to the contestants of MasterChef Pakistan. She directly worked with Shine 360 to create the content for the show. She offers complete production facilities, like pre-production, budgeting, planning, casting, art direction, technical support, and all post-production facilities, like OST, dubbing, graphics, background score, and packaging. Also, she created and developed content for feature films, digital platforms, television, format shows, and branded software.
