Iqbal Kashmiri was born and raised in Lahore, Pakistan. He is a film director and actor. He delivered a total of 84 films, in Urdu, Punjab, and Pashto. His father Karim Bakhsh ran a hotel near Delhi Darwaza, Lahore, Pakistan. His first movie was Taxi Driver, Babul, and Bansari Thag. He was fond of movies and loved creating various content for the entire region. He was able to play a small role in a Punjabi language film Yakke Wali, with help of IIyas Kashmiri. He later worked as an assistant to many veteran Pakistani film directors. He played a crucial role in developing the film career. He made many movies and gained a huge success. His movie Choron ki Barat was a hit during his time. He directed films such as Border, Bhabhi Dian Choorian, Musalman, Ham Khilari Pyar Kay, Jo Darr Gya Who Marr Gya, and more. He worked as an actor in Deewar and Yakke Wali. He was awarded for many films, including three Nigar Awards. Iqbal Kashmiri worked hard to gain success in his life. Iqbal Kashmiri was suffering from chronic kidney disease; he was under medication for a long time. He took his last breath on 15th November 2020.
