Saleem Agha was a Pakistani writer, novelist, and poet. He was born in Shikarpur City in Pakistan. He is known for translating Sindhu language books into Urdu and English languages. He translated Abdul Latif Bhittai's book Risalo. He did his schooling at his hometown school. He then went to Hyderabad city for college and attended Government College Kali Mori in 1948. He had two sons and a daughter in his family. Saleem's debut short story 'Ahh Ae Zaalim Samaj' was published in 1958. He started writing radio plays for Radio Pakistan. His first novel was called "Ondhahi Dharti Roshan Hath'a" was based on Indus Valley Civilization of Mohenjo-daro times which was published in 1972. He wrote famous novels like 'Hamma Oast,' and 'Roshan Hath.' His debut poet series was 'Paan Chhan Aeen Chand (1986).' He worked as an editor for two local newspaper 'Jaago' and 'Daily Sach'.
