Kanwal Nauman is a talented and versatile actress born in 1964 and raised in Multan Pakistan is highly appreciated for her work as politician in the Pakistani political community. Kanwan was an actress before. Kanwal completed her high school studies from Women Degree College, Multan in 1983. Before joining politics Kanwal had an experience of twenty years of acting career and won numerous prestigious awards. She started her political journey in 2008 and was elected as a member of the Provincial Assembly as a candidate of the Pakistan Muslim League (N) (PML-N) on a reserved seat for women in the 2013 general election from 29 May 2013 to 22 May 2018. Then she resigned from the Provincial Assembly in May 2018. Kanwal is also operating an NGO, which helps poverty stricken or drug addicts and also highlighting women and particular persons related issues, and promoting importance of education and health facilities. She is also a member of the Standing Committee on Special Education and the Standing Committee on Home Affairs. She is also a Member of Censor Board and serves as media coordinator of Women Parliamentary Caucus. Kanwal is married to Syed Nauman Aziz.
