Subani Ba Yunus is a talented Pakistani actor from the television and radio industry. His birth year is 1931. His birthplace is Hyderabad Deccan, British India. His family settled in Karachi after the partition of India. He began his career with Khawaja Moinuddin's plays and later moved to Pakistan Television (PTV). Khawaja sahib's Lal Qilay Sey Lalukhet Tuk and Taleem-i-Balghaan in the role of butcher plays were so successful that it was aired on PTV, and Subani got the opportunity to perform in these plays. His notable plays on PTV are Intizar Farmaiye, Janey Do, Insan Aur Aadmi, Ba Adab Ba Mulahiza Hoshiar, Akahri Chataan, Mera Naam Mangu, Zeenat, Lal Qilay Sey Lalukhet Tuk, Tipu Sultan, Tanhaiyaan, The Tiger Lord, Khuda Ki Basti, Taleem - i- Balghaan, Laabaik and Shama.His last play was Ba Adab Ba Mulahiza.
He played various character roles and mystery roles. He played detective Inspector Zuberi in Ali Zafar Jafri's mystery series. He also worked for Ibn-e-Safi. Subani later worked in the film industry. His notable films are Nadaan (1973), directed by Iqbal Akhtar in the role of villain Nadaan (1982), by Athar Shah Khan Jaidi, Muskurahat (1995), by Iqbal Akhtar, Gujarati film Mann Tey Maan, English film Beyond the Last Mountain by Javed Jabbar Bio coming soon... >> Read More... . In 1968, he played the character of Ghalib in the documentary by the Directorate of Films and Publications for Ghalib's centenary celebrations. This documentary is available in Shalimar Recording Company, Islamabad. He passed away on 30 May 2006 in Karachi, Pakistan.
