Shahnawaz Zaidi

Shahnawaz Zaidi is a famous Urdu poet, actor, painter, and professor. He is well appreciated for the many dramas he has performed in and the books he has written. He was born on 3 June 1955 in Karachi, Pakistan. He is also a fantastic painter who excels in making portraits. In 2014, he was awarded “The Pride of Performance Award,” which is considered the highest recognition award in the country. He was the director of “Ali Institute of Education” for a year from 2004 to 2005. In 2018, he was a professor at “The Institute of Art and Culture,” but he retired from his job in 2021 and has been self-employed since then.
