Ismail Shah was a Pakistani movie star. On May 22, 1962, he was born in Pishin. He was born into the Syed family, who moved from Kashmir to Afghanistan and then to Baluchistan. He finished his education at the Forman Christian School in Karachi, then went on to the National College of Arts, where he earned a degree in acting. He was 19 when he started his acting career in the Baluchi dramas from PTV Quetta Centre in 1975. In 1980, he became famous when he played a historical character in Shaheen, a PTV drama series. He debuted in cinema with the film "Baghi Qaidi" in 1989. "Baghi Qaidi" was an action thriller film that was a box office hit. Ismail Shah was named the first dancing hero of Pakistan because of his dance performances in movies like Dulari and Nachay Nagin. Sadly, the actor passed away at the young age of 30 because of a heart attack. Many still remember him as the "first dancing hero."
