Iftikhar Thakur was born on April 1, 1958, in Mian Channu, Pakistan. He is a very famous actor and stand-up comedian. Thakur gained popularity for his roles in Punjabi drama. He has done numerous stage shows and films in many languages, including Punjabi, Pothwari/Mirpuri, and Urdu. In his initial days, before he became an actor, he worked in an auto repair shop and used to fix punctured tires.
He completed his graduation from Commerce College, Karachi. In 1997, after joining theatre and films, Thakur went to the United States of America to polish his skills as an actor and director, and he got his three years &two months training certificate from the New York Click to look into! >> Read More... film academy. He currently appears in the comedy talk show Mazaaq Raat, where he plays Mian Afzal Nirgoli, a Punjab Police officer. In 2019, he was awarded the Pride of Performance Award by the President of Pakistan.
