Adeel Afzal

Adeel Afzal brilliantly portrayed the character of Nasaaz in the gleaming TV show, Parizaad. He never dreamt about being an actor. He was born in Quetta in Pakistan and spent most of his life there. He did his schooling at Islamia School in Quetta. He did a Bachelor's in Science and a Master's in Public Administration. Afzal's first job was as a sub-editor in a newspaper (in Express Newspaper and Dunya Newspaper). His short story was also printed in the Jang newspaper. Here, he met a diverse set of people and learned about himself. He joined a radio station while pursuing his degree and participated in skits. After finding his purpose in life in performance arts, he went back to university. He was admitted to NCA to pursue a degree in Film and Television. After graduating from NCA, he worked as a teaching associate in the university itself.

In the entertainment business, he started as a digital content creator for the website Mangobaaz. Because of this reason, he is also known as Adeel Afzal Mangobaaz. When he parted ways with the website, he started working as a freelancer in writing, acting, etc. After a little while, he started creating his content. He released this content on various social media platforms like a YouTube channel. His channel is named Adeel Afzal. He also leads a brilliant podcast that touches on the socio-political events in Pakistan. His video on Aurat March became famous in Pakistan. He debuted in the acting industry with the role of Parvez in the 2018 series Aakhiri Station. It is a Pakistani mini-series that deals with issues of women empowerment in a patriarchal society.

Afzal's debut movie is Zindagi Tamasha in 2019. This movie won awards, including one at the 2021 Asian World Film Festival. Adeel was not a household name until his portrayal of Nasaaz in Parizaad. He is the friend of the protagonist in the drama. Despite his short role, the audience remembers this portrayal. He has not played many roles in the industry yet, but he has succeeded in leaving his mark as a brilliant artist. He has also indulged himself as a director, writer, and producer.
