Sinhala Singer Amali Deepika

Amali Deepika is a Sinhala singer most famous for her songs devoted to God. She was born to her parents in Tamil Nadu and had two siblings: a brother and a sister. When Amali was young, her mother used to take her to Carnatic music classes; as a result, she began singing Carnatic songs at a very young age. When she was in 10th grade, her faith in God increased. She was very sick at the time and had given up hope but faith in God helped her overcome this challenging chapter of her life, after which she felt happy in life and devoted a part of her time to praying. Before this turn in her life, she used to sing to the world, but later she started singing for and to God. She also involved herself in ministry.

Amali, along with her singing, was also interested in law. So, after finishing her schooling, she got a degree and became an advocate. Her father, at the time, was the bar president of Chengalpattu Court, where she practiced at first. Later, she also practiced under a lot of senior lawyers. Amali also worked as an anchor on Angel TV adding to her popularity. Amali lost both her father and brother in 2020. Amali got married to Solomon Theodore who worked as a creative designer at an IT company. They met at a matrimonial site with the help of Amali’s elder sister, Diana, and soon decided to marry. Amali is praised for her voice and melodic songs; she has given many hit songs, like Onumilla Onumilla, Pokkisham, Kadantha Nalellam, Indha Mannai, Vaanin Uyaram, Yugam Palla, Yesuve, Ennil Adanga Sthothiram, Neer Illathe Naalellam, and many more.
