Chandrika Siriwarenda (Born on 11th November 1948) is a Sri Lankan songstress and playback singer who has sung wonderful songs for around six decades. Chandrika comes from a musical family as her father was a musician and also taught music in college, while her mother was a music teacher and actress. Chandrika started her career at the age of five as she started singing Sinhala songs and Tamil songs for Radio Ceylon (Radio Station in Sri Lanka). By starting her career very early, she also excelled in terms of singing but also improved herself a lot by learning South Carnatic music and classical music as well. She has also completed her education with a degree from Bhatkhande University.

Chandrika has also lent songs for many Sri Lankan films and Tamil Films. She also became a judge for a show called Sirisa Superstar in 2006 and then continued till 2007. She became a judge in Derena Superstar in 2012, and then she continued as a judge in the reality show as she also changed the role of a woman in reality shows in Sri Lanka. Chandrika is also a music educator who opened her institute during COVID-19, and she directed two musical plays to showcase the talents of students. She earned the Kalabhushan Award, which was given by the president of Sri Lanka in 2019.
