Virajini Lalithya de Silva, popularly known as Nirosha Virajini, is a famous singer. Musician and music director. She is an award-winning Sri Lankan music artist. She came into the world on 13th January 1973 in Kandy, Sri Lanka. She was married to Nalinda Sampath in 2000 but unfortunately got divorced in 2005. She remarried Yasantha Nimalatheja in 2009. She has sung songs in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Sinhalese. She has sung various songs, some of them areAlissan Khatta Bahata, Budu Samudin Men-Piyanane, Chandana Dan Chumbana Dun, Ek Dinak Pasuthawennemi Man, Igilenna Thahanam Nam Durak, Oba Soya Oba Soya Enawa and a lot more.
She was awarded the Best Female Vocalist at the President’s Award and Sarasaviya Awards in 2000, 2002, and 2016. She was awarded for her contributions as a playback singer in the movies Rajya Sevaya Pinisai and Kinihiriya Mal.
