Sudath Devapriya is a renowned Sinhala director in the Sri Lankan Television and Film Industry. He has given around 30 years of his life to the teledramas and the making of films. He has made at least six teledramas for the Sri Lankan Television and two films. The names of such teledramas include Amba yaluwo (based on Children's novel made in 1957), Hadaya (2020), Agni Kankariya, Wankagiriya, Diyamankada (2016), Sulanga Mahameraka (2019). The films for which he has worked as a director include Udugan Yamaya (2006) & Tharanaya (a movie of 1.8 hours). Sudath Devapriya has been the company's managing director, Cine Maya Presentations, since January 2010.
