Malkanthi Jayasinghe is an Actress born on 23 August in Colombo, Sri Lanka. She has been in the entertainment industry for more than 36 years. Her husband's name is Lal Chandrasiri. She has a son named Hiranya Chandragupta and a daughter, Amandi Navodya. She made her debut in the movie Death at the Doorstep in 1988. She has done many stage plays, which include Chalaka Ranasuriya's Maraka Lida, Kumudu Nishantha's Kaluma Kalu Mahatavaru, and Akila Sapumal's Samajavadi Kukul Kapua.
