Satnam Punjabi is a talented folk singer from the Punjabi film industry. His birthplace is Chaunda near Malerkotla, Punjab. He is well educated. He is pursuing a Ph.D. in music from Punjab University, Patiala. He got the training in music from Late Sh. Paramjit Singh Lali. Satnam is devoted to the rich cultural heritage of Punjab and wants to spread awareness about the great heritage of the land of the five rivers through his folk songs. He has changed the old tunes of Punjabi songs to a new style. His famous tracks are Vaar Baba Deep Singh Ji, Sir Kadwe, Bapu, Gujjar Boys, Boliyan, Rabb Di Saunh, Vich Madine Dera, NoShit, Mere Saiya, Doli, War, Dil Ki Rani, Ishq Ki Murat, Kale Kanoon, Wahge Ton Paar and many more. He has also sung for the Punjabi movie Darra.
