Kamal Heer is a singer as well as a music composer. He was born on January 23, 1973, in Halluwal, Punjab, in India. His birth name is Kamaljeet Singh Heer. Heer studied at Punjab University, Chandigarh. From Ustaad Jaswant Singh Bhangra. He graduated in music. He has two elder brothers. Kamal heer was music director from 1993 to 2000 and has been a singer from 2000 to the present. He is a traditional Punjabi musician as well as an Indian singer. The classical singer of Pakistan, Ustad Tariq Khan, recognized Heer internationally. He has been a team member of Muhammed Abdul Aziz and Gular Ali Sahib. His skills have been showcased in a live performance.

He and his brother Sangtar composed music in 1993 for Manmohan Waris's album ‘Gaairan Naal Penghan Jhotdiye'. It was a huge hit. In Punjabi Virsa 2004, Heer got his vast success. Heer released 'Masti 2’ in 2003, ‘Jindal Ni Jindal in 2009 and two singles, 'Club Wich' and 'Game’ in 2012. The songs by Kamal Heer are Kamli, Kanthey Vala, Nachne Nu Kare Mera Ji, Akh Lar Gaee, Tera Hero, etc.
