Elly Mangat, real name Harkirat Singh Mangat was a renowned singer in Punjabi Music Industry. He was born on 20 August 1990 in Doraha Ludhiana, Punjab. Elly has one sister. He completed his schooling in Punjab and graduated from Canada. He was nicknamed Elly by his friend ‘Cheema’ because he was too fat in his childhood, so his friend used to call him an Elephant. Afterward, he lost weight, so Cheema gave him the nickname Elly. He was a big fan of Babbu Mann and was inspired by him to pursue his career as a singer.
Elly started his career in 2015 with his debut song ‘Angry Bird’ from the album PB26 which became a superhit song on YouTube.
