Raman K Jangwal is a director, lyricist, and writer who predominantly writes songs and dialogues in Hindi and Punjabi language for films and short films. He was born in Jalandhar, city of Punjab. In 1996, he came to Mumbai, Maharashtra, and got the opportunity to work in the film industry. Raman started his career as an assistant director in 2000 with a film called Shaheed Uddham Singh: Alais Ram Mohammad Singh Azad. It was directed by Chitraarth and the film was based on the life of Sardar Udham Singh who was born and brought up in a Sikh Kamboj family of Punjab, during the British colonial rule in India.
