Gurchet Chitarkar is a versatile personality. He is an Actor, Comedian, Producer, and Painter, born on 12 March 1975 in Ealwal village, Sangrur, Punjab, India. Gurchet completed his schooling at Ealwal Government School, Punjab. Later, he pursued a degree in engineering from Punjab Technical University. In 2000, Gurchet started his career as a stand-up comedian. He got attention from his work in the comedy show, “The Great Indian Laughter Challenge.” Gurchet was multi-talented from his childhood. He was good in academics, sports, painting, and other cultural activities like Bhranga and Theatre and won various prizes for his school. During college days, he started doing theatre and spent more time acting.

After completing his professional education, he got two government jobs, one as a Police officer and the other as a Clerk. Still, he left his job and followed his passion for acting. Later, Gurchet performed and toured extensively across Canada, the US, Europe, Singapore, Malaysia, and Dubai. Besides being a talented actor, Gurchet is an excellent writer and producer. He has written and produced shows like “The Great Indian Laughter Challenge,” “Comedy Circus,” and “Comedy Nights with Kapil.” Gurchet always made us proud; he is a Gold Medalist in India in Painting and a 7-time Gold medalist in Stage Acts in India.
