is an actor and director in the Indian film industry. The Punjabi folk recognise him better as Chacha Bishna. He completed his graduation from the Khalsa College in Amritsar. Gurdeep's cheerful personality along with the knack of directly reaching the audience's heart, makes him an ideal candidate for playing comical roles in films. So far, he has starred in several Punjabi movies, mostly in comedic roles. Some of his notable works are- Karry On Katta (2016), Pange Hee Pange, Tension Pension Di, and Yaaran De Yaar. In 2023, he starred in Phir Toh Punjab and Kade Dade Diyan Kade Pote Diyan. Although Gurdeep has received a lot of love from his fans based on his acting, his role as a director in the industry has been limited so far. He directed two movies in 2023, Desi Bande and Ik Teeka.
