Amar Dash is an Indian Entrepreneur who has received immense success after going through many hurdles in his life. He was born in Nayagarh, Odisha, India. He is the founder of the visual effects production firm based in Mumbai known as AD group. He left home when he was a teenager in 2010 to pursue his dreams. He used to be a wall painter in Bhubaneshwar around 2003-2004. His father was a teacher, and although their financial status was stable, he left home without telling anyone. His parents were not very supportive and would not let him pursue fine arts. In 2009, he joined a multimedia institute in Bhubaneshwar. He took a three-year course but could not finish the course because of some underlying issues.

In July 2010 he got a job at Prime Focus. Later he took help of his friends and acquaintances and invested his money to launch his venture in March 2013. He initially worked from home and later rented an office space in Mumbai. Work came in subsequently and his hard work paid off. His firm has 17 visual effect designers who are hired on a contractual basis.
